Beyond the Palette
What we perceive with the naked eye merely scratches the surface — beneath lies a complexity we rarely have the opportunity or capacity to fully explore. The mundane objects of daily use offer profound insights into someone’s inner landscape. Press enter or click to view image in full size
These are not simply color palettes; they are manifestations of lifestyle, embodiments of thought processes made tangible. Their philosophy and worldview, consciously or unconsciously, reveal themselves through their palettes, their brushes, their strokes, and their interpretative approach to painting. Each palette serves as a window into a distinct mental and creative landscape.
While I haven’t documented every instance photographically, I have had the privilege of closely observing their workspaces, materials, and the entirety of their creative arsenal.
This intimate observation has illuminated how artists, even when working within the same medium, can embody fundamentally different ideologies and aesthetic philosophies.
